Decayed Games

Cronies can be a major source of profit on City of Decay - if you know how to work them.

When using cronies, be sure to store all cash on hand in one of the banks available and put all uppers on hand into your upper stash or on upper alley. This way, if you lose money or uppers to your cronies, you lose '0'.

Note: if you're going to use cronies, make sure you start out with a MINIMUM of 20; even having this few is not recommended. You can have up to ten times your level in cronies. Any less than 20, and you will probably lose them all on the first few turns and be upset that your cronies are all gone. The more you have, the more uppers you make. Money alone, you might come out less than even, but the uppers are worth it.

What Will I Get?
Outcomes are random, but the amount of cash and uppers you get out of it all depend on how many cronies you own. You can have up to ten times your level in cronies. Every day you get 100 free food - which is how cronies become an excellent profit opportunity.

Money
If you have 100 cronies, it will take $50,000 to feed them. When your cronies find cash, they'll find an amount just below $500k, if that were the case. If you have 200 cronies, it takes $100,000 to feed them, and you will get just below $100k whenever you find cash.

Uppers
With uppers, there's a much wider range on how many you'll find, but it still depends on how many cronies you have. With 250 cronies, you can find between 40 and 220 uppers in one turn.
